While respecting tradition, the indigo master and dye artist BUAISOU is attracting attention from around the world for its manufacturing that makes full use of modern technology. Inspired by the various shades of natural indigo, UNIQLO created a special collection unique to UNIQLO with the motifs of Mickey Mouse and his friends. BUAISOU
Established in 2015. Based in Kamiita-cho, Tokushima Prefecture, they consistently carry out the indigo dyeing business, which has been a division of labor since ancient times, from growing indigo to production of sukumo (sukumo), which is used as a dye, and manufacturing products. They are also working on the production of original indigo dyeing products, collaborations, domestic and international exhibitions and workshops, etc., and conveys the appeal of natural indigo using various methods.
